How to find us
Toury is a very small hamlet of around fifty people and only recently have we got a road name and a house number
which may not be on your GPS system. But we are the only permanent English residents.
Our GPS location
is 46.491874° North and 04.715018° East. Look us up on your favourite mapping site.
The road passing the house is actually the D380 which has been called La Combe in the past.
Toury is about five kilometres South East of Taizé and
eight kilometres North North East of the medieval monastic town of
Cluny.
The hamlet is divided between the communes of Cortambert and
Bray.
Our house is in the commune of Cortambert but our garden across the road is in the commune of Bray!
Cluny is about thirty kilometres West of Mâcon, which is the departmental capital of Saône et Loire,
which is the southern most department of the new region of Burgundy-Franche-Comté.
